Rising Women, Rising Bangladesh
Empowering Women for a Stronger Tomorrow
In every corner of Bangladesh — from the green villages to the heart of our cities — women are the heartbeat of progress. They nurture, they lead, they build, and they inspire. Yet too often, their strength goes unseen, and their potential untapped.
At Women for Tomorrow (WFT Foundation)
we believe that when a woman rises, an entire community stands taller. Our mission is to connect women, nurture their dreams, and empower them with the tools they need to shape a brighter future.
We Work in the Most Vulnerable Communities
On August 21, 2024, intense rainfall, combined with a surge of water released from a dam in India’s Tripura, culminated in catastrophic flooding that impacted 73 upazilas (sub-districts) and 528 unions/municipalities across 11 districts in northeastern and southeastern Bangladesh. This event marks one of the most devastating flood occurrences in recent history.
